AI without a subscription

AI without a subscription: pay per answer, not per month

Luger has no plans and no auto-charges. You top up from $5, and every reply, image or project charges its actual cost. Money never expires.

Why not a subscription

A $20 monthly plan pays off if you send hundreds of prompts a day. Most people use AI in waves: an intense week, then a pause. Paying for the pause makes no sense. A balance solves it simply: spend $0.40 in a week, and $0.40 is charged.

There are no “plan limits” either: the number of messages per day is bounded only by your balance, not by a tier.

What it really costs

Reference points from real sessions:

  • A short reply: from $0.003.
  • Research with sources: about $0.03.
  • An image: about $0.31.
  • A one-page site, three files: about $0.06.

How to start without paying

The trial balance is granted without sign-up, right in the chat. After signing in with Google, Telegram, X or email you get a welcome balance and a free allowance every day. Top-ups start at $5; the available payment methods are shown on the balance page.

Rates are published on the pricing page and change only with the provider's prices. Every charge is listed in the Usage section.

One balance for chat and API

The same balance covers chat, images, projects and the OpenAI-compatible API. The API spends paid money only; the free allowance stays for the chat. A monthly cap on a key keeps a script from overspending.

Questions

Does the balance expire?

No. Paid balance has no expiry date.

Are there hidden fees?

No. The published per-token or per-operation rate is charged, with nothing on top.

Can I use it without paying?

Yes. A trial balance without sign-up, then a welcome balance and a free daily allowance after signing in.

How is this different from a $20 subscription?

A subscription charges every month regardless of use. Here you pay only for what you did, and what you did not spend stays on the balance.
